Academic Requirements

US American curriculum

Direct access for humanities, law, social sciences, and economics with High School Diploma (HSD) in conjunction with proof of Advanced Placement (AP) exams (Student Score Report. Evidence of four Advanced Placement exams with a grade of 3 or higher in the following subjects is included in the “Student Score Report”:

  • English (AP English Literature or AP English Language and Composition).
  • 1 additional foreign language (AP French or AP Spanish or AP Latin or AP German)
  • 1 mathematics or science subject (AP Calculus AB or BC or AP Biology or AP Chemistry or AP Physics C (AP Physics C: Mechanics and AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism)
  • 1 additional subject appropriate to the high school level (e.g. AP European History, AP American History, AP Computer Science, or AP Macroeconomics (0.5 credits/units) and AP Microeconomics (0.5 credits/units)

-Direct access for mathematical subjects, medicine, natural sciences, pharmacy, and technology with High School Diploma (HSD) in conjunction with proof of Advanced Placement (AP) exams (Student Score Report). Evidence of four Advanced Placement exams with a grade of 3 or higher in the following subjects is included in the “Student Score Report”:

  • Mathematics (AP Calculus AB or BC)

British A Level

State-regulated “Advanced Level” (A Level) must be evidenced by credentials from the following testing agencies: – AQA / OCR / Pearson (formely Edexcel) / WJEC or WJEC Eduqas / CCEA and meet the following basic and subject-specific requirements:

  1. Basic requirements
  • 3 general education, unrelated subjects at A Level with a minimum grade of C.
  • 2 subjects from: a language, history, geography, social studies/politics, economics, mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, computer science according to “List A: General education A Level subjects meeting the basic requirements” (subject 1 and subject 2, possibly subject 3)
  • 1 other general education subject independent of the two subjects chosen above according to “List A” or according to “List B: General Education A Level Subjects Meeting Basic Requirements” (Subject 3).
