Requirements
Academic Requirements
- The applicants must graduate from a high school/senior secondary school before being admitted to the university. In case the applicant leaves high/secondary school in the year of application and school leaving certificate is not issued until the day of entrance exam, a certificate of completion of high/secondary school studies has to be attached and the school leaving certificate has to be presented until the registration the latest.
Additional requirements
1.copy of your valid passport with your personal data
2. official copy of your secondary school leaving certificate and official transcript of grades from secondary school (in English or with an authorized translation) (Note: you are invited to apply even if you’ll only get your high school leaving certificate in 2023. In case you get admitted you can submit the certificate as late as the end of August 2023.)
3. Europass CV (Curriculum Vitae) with a photo in English
4.Payment receipt of the 200 USD application fee (one-time fee) and if the exam is taken at an exam occasion organized by our Office, the 250 USD exam fee per exam. Application and exam fees are non-refundable!
B2 level language examination (such as Cambridge FCE/CAE, TOEFL, IELTS)
Additional documents to be collected in English/ officially attested English translation:
5. medical certificate (signed & stamped by your family doctor)
6. chest X-ray (doctor’s note, not the image, and not older than 1 year)
7. vaccination card (showing that you are immunized against Hep B and C) OR serology results for Hep B and C
8. HIV test result (not older than 3 months)

About Faculty
The faculty has 19 theoretical departments and 28 clinics with 500 educators, researchers and professionals, 74 academic doctors and 5 academics. Aside from general medicine and dentistry gradual courses, we offer Master’s degrees, biotechnology and PhD courses, and vocational trainings for our students in 33 fields of study. There are 389 elective courses on top of the mandatory subjects, with opportunities in 768 scientific undergraduate research topics.

Student Accommodation at University of Pécs
The University of Pécs has ten dormitories. They are located in quiet, residential areas of the city. The Faculties of the University as well as the city centre are easily accessible from the dormitories. Most of the dormitories have recently been renovated. The rooms are nicely furnished and contain bathrooms. Bedclothes are supplied. Rooms are offered on a reasonable price level: approximately EUR 130 per month.
