About Faculty

Gratefully named for community leader, volunteer, and Virginia Wesleyan Trustee Susan S. Goode, the School of Arts and Humanities embraces traditional yet highly relevant disciplines of the liberal arts. The study of languages, art, religion, philosophy, and other fields spans the history of the human experience, its highest aspirations, and sources of inspiration, and is the means by which we express our understanding of that experience.
