About program
The Computers, Communications and Autonomous Systems programme at Newgiza University will provide highly-skill and interdisciplinary graduates with expertise in the design of both the software and hardware required to build the systems of the future. The programme focuses on the electronic, computing, networking, and control systems that will drive the next generation of cloud computing, the internet of things, communications systems, and autonomous machines. Graduates will understand both the hardware and software that are required to design and develop intelligent and autonomous systems. They will have the knowledge, understanding, and skills to be world leaders in designing systems for a wide range of high-value systems in the context of multi-disciplinary project teams.
Students will be able to choose modules that allow them to focus on either a Communications or an Autonomous Systems track. The NGU Engineer will be equipped with technical knowledge and skills, and the professional, business, and leadership skills to play a central role in shaping new technologies and markets in Egypt and the wider region.
The NGU Architectural Engineering program sets out to inspire design innovation. The program conceives of architecture as a diverse and complex set of practices that move beyond traditional distinctions and limits in the field. The vision of this new program is to provide a well-rounded breed of future-oriented creative architects equipped with the know-how that draws together the artistic creativity of architecture, technical and digital skills of other engineering disciplines to help forge a better living environment for their clients, the community and the world at large.
Our program is designed to entrench professional architectural practice with artistic Islamic influences of the past and present, rich Egyptian history, heritage, and artifacts as well as the cultural progress of Islamic and Arab civilizations so that these are rooted in the ideas, critique, and designs of our graduate students.
