The first thing that will strike your eye when you enter our university will be a large number of international students. From the United States to China, from France to South Korea from a wide geographical area extending over 5000 international students are studying at BAU. Education
1- Bahçeşehir University offers 33 fellowship programs, 146 bachelor’s programs in 9 colleges and two summer schools, 160 master’s programs and 27 doctoral programs.
2-The university has exchange programs for professors and students with many universities around the world, including: New York University, Harvard University, Stanford University, Yokogawa University, Technical University of Berlin and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Housing services
There are two dorm options for students at Bahçeşehir University: the Republika and the Yurdum.
The Republika student housing with shared or private bathrooms. There are three different dorms in Ortaköy, Büyükçekmece and Florya. The closest one to BAU is the dorm in Ortaköy.
The Yurdum student housing has four different locations, three for women-only housing and one for men. There are two female student apartments in Şişli and one in Beşiktaş. The male student apartments are in Osmanbey. They all offer single, double and triple rooms, with options of shared or private bathrooms. They also provide students with a gym, library and study hall.
Library services
One of the university campuses includes a huge library on an area of 11,400 square meters, containing more than 250,000 books and magazines, in addition to digital and electronic documents, encyclopedias, studies and scientific publications.
ICT services
Internet Usage at the Campus
After registration, the Student Affairs Office will provide a username, password, and e-mail account to each student for internet access on campus. Students can use their personal laptops with wireless internet connection on the campus.
Medical services
Campus Medical Office
Bahçeşehir University Health Center offers advice on emergency treatment and consultations on personal and health matters. A doctor is available Monday through Thursday between 09:00 and 17:30 and a medical nurse is on duty Monday through Friday between 09:00 and 22:30.
Campus Psychological Consultancy Counseling Center
BAU runs two Counseling Center offices for students, at Beşiktaş and at Şişli. Psychologists are available by appointment to help students with personal or academic concerns. The Center operates under the ethics code of the Turkish Psychological Association, and keeps all correspondence confidential.

five campuses located in the heart of Istanbul, Beşiktaş North, Beşiktaş South, Göztepe, Galata, and Kemerburgaz.
Transportation to BAU is quite easy. We provide free shuttle service to our students and scholars with our own boats between the five campuses. Our boats depart at certain times of the day from our own pier and this allows for a pleasant journey between our campuses in Beşiktaş and Galata. Thus, students stay away from the busy Istanbul traffic and enjoy the sea and its fresh air while transitioning from campus to campus.
Sports facilities
Sport Activities
Many sport activities are available for Bahçeşehir University students, both recreational and professional. Football, basketball, volleyball, table-tennis, tennis, swimming, bowling, sailing and several other sports are all coordinated by our sports coaches at the Sports Activity Center.

BAU student clubs support a long list of interests. New clubs are always welcomed. There are currently 81 student clubs for personal development, recreation, academic pursuit, and other endeavors.
