UCF IT is an operating unit within the Office of the Provost and Academic Affairs at the University of Central Florida. Our mission is to support our Students, faculty, and staff in achieving their teaching, learning, research and service objectives.
As the main provider of information technology resources, our responsibilities include providing all telecommunications services (voice and data), enterprise administrative systems and support to the UCF community including:
UCF Student Health Services was established when UCF, then Florida Technological University, first opened its doors in 1968. Since that time, the department has grown tremendously and today averages 6,000 patient visits per month. We provide low-cost health services to the UCF community and are funded, in part, by the student health fee. We are committed to providing the UCF community with quality healthcare, and as such maintain accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
Our staff includes sports medicine physicians, psychiatrists, gynecologists, dentists, primary care physicians, physician assistants, advanced registered nurse practitioners, dietitians, pharmacy staff, nursing staff, alcohol and other drug counseling staff, laboratory staff, and radiography staff. Departments include Administration, Appointments, Building Management, Dental, Primary Care, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Psychiatry, Physical Therapy, Gynecological Care, Sports Medicine, Health Information Management, Laboratory, Immunizations, Business, Marketing, Pharmacy, Nursing, Insurance, and Information Technology.
As UCF’s home since 1968, our 1,415-acre main campus in east Orlando is impressive in size and even bigger in potential. Modern facilities and state-of-the-art technology keep you connected to classwork and social communities, while 800 acres of woodlands, lakes and an arboretum help you reconnect with nature. Whether you’re inside a classroom or outside exploring, our campus is an exciting place to learn — and an easy place to love.
Knights athletic teams have earned landmark victories on state and national stages — from back-to-back American Athletic Conference titles to BCS bowl wins. But some of our student-athletes’ most important triumphs have been in the classroom, where they’ve achieved an average GPA of 3.0 or higher for 27 consecutive semesters. Though attendance is currently limited, students have access to free admission to sporting events on campus. Being a part of the action is an important part of the UCF experience — because we’re never as strong alone as we are together.
There are over 650 student clubs and organizations you can get involved in.
